IOSH Working Safely is a basic risk management health and safety certificate for employees. It enables people who work as part of a team to meet their responsibilities for health and safety in the workplace.

It’s suitable for people any level, in any organisation and in any sector and will boost the performance and motivation of your staff by demonstrating the practical steps everyone can take to enhance their safety, health and well-being through everyday behaviours.

Whether you’re up in Edinburgh, or as far south as Somerset; east-coast Newcastle or near our HQ in Liverpool, regardless of location – we’ve got you covered!

Courses can even be delivered on-site, at your premises.

The four main modules of the IOSH Working Safely course are:

  • Module 1. Introducing working safely
  • Module 2. Defining hazard and risk
  • Module 3. Identifying common hazards
  • Module 4. Improving safety performance

The course is split into 2 units – One taught unit assessed by a 10 question, multiple-choice assessment paper and a practical unit assessed by three hazard spotting exercises (15 mins)

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be presented with an internationally recognised and respected IOSH certificate which satisfies legal obligations for training under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and which demonstrates staff competence, creating a safer and more efficient workplace.

Delegates who obtain the IOSH Working Safety certificate can progress onto the IOSH Managing Safely course – a management-level course which teaches candidates how to not only manage safely, but become safe and efficient leaders.
