The Level 3 in First Aid at Work Revalidation course is designed for trained first aiders who already have an in-date FAW certificate. It allows learners to renew their certificate without having to attend the full three day FAW course, meaning employers can reduce the amount of time their staff spend out of work by 33%, increasing efficiency.
The course enables people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary or community activities, to provide basic first aid to people in a variety of emergency first aid situations. The new validation date commences upon successful completion of the course.
Over a 2 day period, learners will update and renew the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis and more.
